Welcome to Midway Christian Church
We gather for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:55 a.m. ET. We meet in-person and also live stream to Facebook Live and YouTube.
Our worship services are a blend of both traditional and contemporary elements. Our choir and piano/organ accompanist lead us in traditional hymns as well as praise songs. We recite the Lord’s Prayer together and observe a time of fellowship as we “pass the peace” to those around us. Communion is served every Sunday.
Generally, services are planned around a 4-6 week Worship Series with scripture, prayers, and music all in keeping with the theme. We begin with a responsive call to worship, opening hymn, and invocation. We share joys and concerns after which the choir performs the anthem or other special music. Pastor McColl then brings the sermon followed by a unison prayer of confession, Communion, and the offering. The service concludes with a hymn of invitation to encourage anyone who wishes to join Midway Christian Church to come forward or contact the church office.
Two large screen monitors display all song lyrics, scripture passages, responsive readings, and unison prayers. Hymnals and pew Bibles are also provided.
Dress is casual.

Midway Christian Church is located in Historic Midway, KY, in the heart of the Kentucky Bluegrass Region. We are located just minutes from Interstate 64, 20 miles or less from Lexington, Frankfort, and Versailles. We are at 123 East Bruen Street in the heart of town, one block from Railroad (Main) Street. Parking is on the street, in front of or beside the church building.
