Joni Angus, Church Secretary

Joni grew up in Owensboro, is a graduate of WKU, and worked in the horse industry for several years. She has also worked at the Florence Crittenton Home, the Paris-Bourbon County Chamber of Commerce, and the Jessamine Chamber where she still helps out some afternoons. Joni has volunteered at the Jessamine Early Learning Village, Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge, and Twin Pines Christian Church, among other places. Her husband Stuart works at Taylor Made Farm, and her son Drew attends Lexington Catholic High School where he plays on the golf team. Joni's family attends Southland Christian Church, but Joni likes to visit MCC when her "boys" are out golfing on Sundays. She spends her free time doing pottery and stained glass, and working on her "novel."

Melissa Askew, Interim Music Director

Melissa served as Music Director for Midway Christian before leaving in 2009 to pursue her Masters degree in Church Music from Campbellsville University.

In August 2011, having earned her degree, Melissa began serving as interim Music Director. If only for a short time, we are pleased to have her, John, and daughter Kaylee back.

Dayton Harris, Interim Accompanist

Dayton served as Accompanist for Midway Christian before leaving in 2009 to join Campus Crusade for Christ.

After spending two years in Senegal as a missionary, he returned to Kentucky in the summer of 2011 and began serving as interim Accompanist in August. Midway Christian is fortunate to have Dayton again!

Jestine Johnson, Custodian

Jestine has served as our custodian since 1956!

As has been said in honor of him, "preachers come and go, but there is always Jestine!"

His care for this church has kept this historic building in excellent shape.
